I would like to take advantage of this occasion to thank the following for all the support I received to make this book a reality. I would like to thank all the members of the Board Management of the Spanish Association of Distance Learning Schools, and, especially, to Mr. Arturo of the Heras, Assistant Director of the Financial Training Centre and ICT Delegated Advisor of Madrid Open University, thanks to his enterprising spirit that is so characteristic of him, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to coordinate this book.

I would also like to thank all the members of the education institutions (Centres Associated with the Spanish Association of Distance Learning Schools, both national and international Universities) that have collaborated in the realisation this book.
